Sri Jogulamba Ammavari Temple, Telangana

The Jogulamba temple is esteemed as one of the Shakti Peethas, sanctified by the fall of Goddess Sati’s upper teeth. It stands as a testament to the ancient lore of Daksha yagna’s sacrifice and Sati’s consequent self-sacrifice, which underpins the genesis of the Shakti Peethas. Historical accounts suggest that the initial structure of the temple dates back to the 7th century CE. The Jogulamba temple, housing deities Jogulamba and Balabrahmeshwara, is venerated as the fifth Shakti Peetha out of the country’s eighteen sacred Shakti Peetams.
Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Temple, Andhra Pradesh

The Srisailam Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple is celebrated as one of the 18 Maha Shakti Pithas. The temple is graced by Goddess Bhramari, also known as Bhramaramba, and is revered as a divine site of Adiparashakti, created from the remnants of Goddess Sati’s body as Lord Shiva roamed in mourning. It is held that this sacred spot is where Goddess Sati’s neck descended.
